What’s new at Supermetrics in February 2024

This month, we’ve made a bunch of improvements to our products, launched new early-access connectors, and prepared for some exciting events.

Supermetrics won the G2 Best Software Award
What a great start to the year!

New Google Sheets sidebar improvement
This year, we’re revamping the beloved Google Sheets sidebar with a fresh new look. Introducing our latest feature in the Google Sheets add-on—Suggested queries. You’ll find a list of the most commonly used queries for different connectors. Simply select what suits you and start building reports within a few clicks.
New early-access connectors
This month, we’re bringing you three brand new connectors, including:
- Amazon Seller Central: This connector lets you create a report to see how your products are sold on Amazon. You can track metrics such as sales, traffic, order details, etc.
- Google Ads Account Explorer: Use this connector to access your Google Ads invoice data and automate your financial reporting. You can build reports with metrics such as fees, invoice amounts, tax amounts, etc.
- Xandr: You can pull Xandr data to your favorite reporting tools in minutes.
To access these connectors, log in to your Supermetrics Hub, click ‘Connect’, choose ‘Data sources’, and search for the connector you want to try.

Connector improvements
Let’s look at the latest improvements to our connector:
- Google Analytics 4: Google finally made the long-waited improvement to Google Analytics 4 API, making the query string dimensions compatible with most fields again. You can combine string dimensions with fields like landing page, channel, source, and medium.
- TikTok Ads: We now support fetching data for TikTok Ads Reservation accounts. You can use your Reservation accounts alongside your Auction accounts. Use the same fields in your reports, and compare the results easily.
- Google Display & Video 360: We added a new field, ‘Line item integration code’.
New reporting templates for Power BI and Looker Studio
The best way to monitor and share the results of your campaigns is to use a visualization tool. Whether you’re using Looker Studio or Power BI, we’ve got new reporting templates for you to try.
Google Analytics 4 overview template for Power BI
This template helps you monitor your website performance using Google Analytics 4 data. You’ll be able to see:
- The total number of monthly users, sessions, and average session length
- The ratio of monthly new vs. returning customers
- How your sessions have changed over time

Facebook and Instagram Ads reporting template for Looker Studio
This 3-page template provides insights into your Facebook and Instagram Ads performance. You can easily spot changes in your campaigns and optimize your performance. It’ll help you answer questions such as:

- What’s the ROAS and conversion rate of each channel?
- What are the top-performing creatives on each channel?
- Who’s your audience?
