In Part 2 of Supermetrics' AI Webinar Series, Supermetrics founder Mikael Thuneber and AI automation expert Mick O’Brien (founder of Agentive Group) joined host Sam for a hands-on session showing marketers what's actually possible with AI today.

The session opened with a grounding look at where marketing teams stand: 90% feel C-suite pressure to adopt AI, yet only 6% have fully embedded it in their workflows. The gap, as the speakers made clear, is rarely a technology problem. It's a data foundation problem. Teams that are making real progress aren't starting big; they're solving one painful, time-consuming problem first.

Mick walked through a live demo using a fictional brand, Nextwave Commerce, to show how connecting Supermetrics to Claude lets marketers run cross-channel performance queries, generate budget recommendations, and produce executive-ready summaries in seconds rather than hours. The kind of report that typically consumes a Friday morning gets done in a two-minute conversation.

Mikael then demoed Supermetrics' newly launched campaign management capability, showing how marketers can create, edit, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads and Meta directly from a Claude chat, no platform switching required. Campaigns are created in a paused state by default, keeping human oversight in the loop.

The session wrapped up with a look at what's on the roadmap: marketing context uploads, automated campaign rules, and shareable interactive dashboards.

Key takeaway: The bottleneck was never the data. It was the time between data existing and insight landing in the right person's hands. That gap is now closable.
