This month, Supermetrics Studio gives you more ways to work with your data. Add comments to a board, save monthly snapshots, or drop in a file and let SuperAI build a board from it. We're also rolling out a way to bring your Data Studio reports into Studio without rebuilding them by hand.

Agencies get more control over client data access with Client Account Isolation (beta). Elsewhere, you can manage Snapchat Ads campaigns through the Supermetrics MCP, track Bluesky performance, and get clearer help with Google Sheets errors. Read on for the updates, including reporting changes that may need your attention.

  • Supermetrics Studio now supports board comments and monthly snapshots, builds boards from uploaded files, and saves your SuperAI chat with each board version. Data Studio report migration is also rolling out in stages.
  • Client Account Isolation (beta) lets agencies choose exactly which accounts each client workspace can see, even when one login has access to all of them.
  • You can now create and manage Snapchat Ads campaigns, ad squads, and ads through the Supermetrics MCP.
  • Bluesky is now available as a connector, so you can track public profile, post, and audience data with no login needed.
  • The Google Sheets add-on now shows plain-language fixes for common errors, with one-click actions to resolve them.
  • Action needed: Snapchat's lifetime reach, unique impressions, and frequency metrics now need a campaign, ad squad, or ad dimension.
  • Action needed: Taboola "Viewable impressions" is now "Impressions", and "Impressions" is now "Served ads", from October 1.
  • Google Ads API v25 has now rolled out to all accounts.

Supermetrics Studio: comments, snapshots and boards from files

Every Supermetrics Studio board now has its own storage. Part of it is private to you, and part is shared with everyone on the board. Ask SuperAI to pin a comment on a spike in conversions and tag a colleague, or to save a snapshot at the end of each month so you can look back at how the month closed. You don't need to set anything up. If you're not sure where to start, ask SuperAI to add commenting to your board.

Supermetrics Studio can also build a whole board from a file. Drop in an Excel, CSV, TSV, JSON, or XML file and it creates the KPIs, trend charts, and rankings for you. Use it for data that doesn't come through a connector, like offline sales or a budget tracker.

Your chat with SuperAI now lasts the whole session, even if you refresh the page or switch boards. Saving a board also saves the chat with that version, so you can open the changelog and see how the board got where it is and who asked for each change.

If someone sends you a board you can't open, you can request access from that page and add a note. The owner gets an email and can add you.

Bring your Data Studio reports into Supermetrics Studio

You can now move your Data Studio reports into Supermetrics Studio without rebuilding them by hand. Create a new board, choose Migrate report, and paste in the link to your Data Studio report. Supermetrics Studio turns it into a board with the same pages, charts, filters, and theme.

We're rolling this out in stages over the next few weeks. If you don't see Migrate report yet, it's on its way to your account.

Free marketing checks in the Supermetrics MCP

Anyone can now use the marketing utilities in the Supermetrics MCP for free. You don't need a subscription or a connected data source. Ask your AI assistant to build UTM links with the right macros for each ad network, run a Google PageSpeed test on a landing page, or check ad copy against each platform's character limits.

To get started, simply ask Supermetrics in your AI tool of choice “what can you do with the marketing utilities tool”?

Client Account isolation: keep every client's data where it belongs

Lots of agencies connect one login that can reach every client's ad accounts. It's convenient, but when that connection is shared into a client workspace, anyone in that workspace can see and query every account behind it. And with AI assistants and MCP tools pulling data automatically, it's easy for the wrong client's numbers to slip into a report without anyone noticing.

Client Account isolation, now in beta, fixes that. For each data source login in a workspace, you choose which accounts are visible. Everything else behind that login stays hidden, and hidden accounts can't be reached any other way either: not by typing the account ID, not through "All accounts", and not through AI or MCP tools.

Owners and Admins on the main team can manage restrictions for all client workspaces from one place, and Editors and Viewers can manage restrictions for the connections they own. If shared connections have been holding you back from using Supermetrics Studio, Campaign Management, or AI tools for client work, this is the update to try.

Snapchat Ads campaign management through the Supermetrics MCP

Snapchat joins Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, LinkedIn, and ChatGPT Ads as a platform you can write to, not just report on. Through the Supermetrics MCP, you can now create, update, and manage campaigns, ad squads, and ads, including Snap Ads, Story Ads, and Collection Ads.

You can set targeting by location, age, gender, language, interests, custom audiences, and placement, and use goal-based bidding on impressions and clicks or swipes. It works alongside the existing Snapchat reporting connector, so you can check performance and make changes in the same conversation. Sponsored Snaps and Dynamic Product Ads aren't supported yet. It's available now to all customers.

New connector: Bluesky

Bluesky is now generally available as a connector. Pull public profile, post, and audience data from Bluesky to track follower growth, break down post performance by likes, reposts, replies, and quotes, and benchmark accounts alongside your other social channels. It uses public data, so there's no login or authentication to set up.

You can report on Bluesky in Google Sheets, Excel, Power BI, your data warehouse, Data Explorer, the API, and AI chat destinations including Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini. To compare several accounts, run a report once per handle.

Google Sheets add-on: clearer help when something goes wrong

When a query hits one of the most common errors in the Google Sheets add-on, you'll now see a plain-language explanation in the sidebar instead of a raw API error, along with steps to fix it. Many errors also come with a one-click fix, like adjusting your date range or reconnecting an account, plus a direct link to the right support article. It's live now in version 2.87.0.

Google Ads API v25 is now live

As we flagged last month, the Google Ads connector has now moved to API v25, rolled out gradually from September 21. Performance Max now reports by channel instead of a single "Cross-network" value, so if you haven't already, check any filters or totals built on the old value. Our support article has the details.
