Choose Fast or High quality for each SuperAI chat
22 October 2026 · Supermetrics Studio
SuperAI now asks how it should work each time you start a new chat in Supermetrics Studio: Fast for everyday edits, or High quality when the job is harder.

Changing a chart colour or adding a KPI is quick work. Reworking a large, detailed board, or fixing something that still isn't right after a few attempts, takes more. Until now, every chat with SuperAI worked the same way. Now you choose, and you can see what each option costs in credits before you start.
Fast or High quality: which to pick
Fast is selected by default, and it's the right choice for most edits. Replies come back quicker and use fewer credits.
High quality is slower and uses about three times the credits per reply. It's better at complex boards and tricky fixes, and it often gets there in fewer rounds, so in practice the difference in credits is smaller than it looks.
If you're not sure, start on Fast. When a request takes several attempts, or the board is big and detailed, start a new chat on High quality.
Where you'll see the choice
- On an existing board: click Start editing with AI or New chat, then pick a card. If you type straight into the message box instead, the chat starts on Fast.
- On a new board: when you create a board with SuperAI or migrate a Google Data Studio report, the choice is in the create dialog.
- In an earlier chat: when you continue a previous conversation, it keeps the mode it started with.
Your choice holds for the whole chat
Once the chat starts, a small note at the top says Fast mode or High quality mode, so you always know which one you're in. You can't switch halfway through a conversation. To change, start a new chat, or clear this one and pick again.
