Premier Cru Solutions runs paid advertising, email & SMS marketing, social media management, and provides in-house content creation for wineries. Founder Matthew Thompson and directors Anne Scalamonti and Jenna LaCroix each carry a full client roster, and all three build and run campaigns.

Matthew found Supermetrics in June 2026 and signed up the same day. The team started with reporting and client agendas in Claude, then found it could change live campaigns from the same chat. Usage has grown every week since.

The challenge

Campaign management used to mean working one platform at a time: setting spend rules and notifications by hand in Google Ads and Meta, and using a third-party optimization tool that suggested changes but still left the team clicking through each ad manager.

Some jobs were slow by nature. A Google Search ad campaign built with solid keyword research for a winery client takes a specialist up to 4-5 focused hours routinely. Renaming campaigns across a Meta account could take 30 minutes or an hour, depending on the day.

The higher cost was analysis the team couldn't reach. Wineries want to know which ads bring people through the tasting room door, and the answer spans Google Ads, GA4, Meta, booking platforms, and point of sale.

The solution

The team connected its clients' Google Ads, Meta, and GA4 accounts to Claude through Supermetrics, so it can analyze and manage campaigns in the chats it already works in. Saved skills run daily or weekly, review each account, assist with optimizations, and make the changes once someone approves.

“I still work in my ad managers, but I’m not clicking through every platform to make each change,” says Anne Scalamonti, Director. “I decide what needs to happen, and it gets done across Google and Meta from one place.”

Rebuilding a client's Google strategy in an afternoon

One client moved three of its six businesses from Google Display to Search: six new campaigns, each with four to six associated ad groups.

From one Claude conversation, Matthew ran keyword research through the team's Semrush connection and built the campaigns, ad groups, and ads directly in Google Ads. Something that manually would take 14 hours. It took two hours before jumping in and fine-tuning.

“A build like that takes a specialist two days of focus time, and that never happens uninterrupted,” says Matthew Thompson, Founder and Head of Growth. “I was able to do the keyword research and the build in one sitting.”

Restructuring and building Meta campaigns without the copy and paste

When a client wanted every Meta campaign renamed to a new convention, Anne changed six ad sets and 40 ads through Claude in just a few minutes. By hand, it would have taken 30 to 40 minutes at best, with the risk of republishing each ad.

She now builds new Meta campaigns the same way, with no duplicating campaigns or copying ads across, and reviews before she approves. “Meta still needs a careful eye before anything goes live,” she says. “But not having to rebuild every ad by hand makes a huge difference.”

The speed also means Jenna optimizes her Google and Meta ads more regularly. “I can check-in and optimize far more often, and we continue to see better performance because of it,” says Jenna LaCroix, Director.

A second check on every change

Each morning, Anne runs scheduled checks in Claude on ad copy and optimization flags to help catch issues before they affect performance.

Matthew asks Claude to check every change he makes. “If it discovers an issue, it offers a fix,” he says. “It is a helpful assistant.” It also means fewer emails asking teammates for a second pair of eyes.

Answers clients couldn't get before

The saved time goes into analysis, which is where clients see the difference.

  • Paid media spend per winery visit. Matthew combined a winery's guest survey spreadsheet, its point-of-sale data, and paid media spend and conversions from Supermetrics to show paid media cost per guest by paid channel. It took just a little over an hour.
  • Detailed weekly analysis for a winery client. Consultants brought in by one client get a large weekly data pack from Claude. Matthew estimates it would have cost thousands of dollars to produce the old way.
  • Ads reconciled with what happened on site. Google Ads, GA4, and Meta side by side show which ad drives which visits, purchases, and who responds.

“Analysis like this used to take weeks to pull together,” says Anne. “Now we can bring it straight into the meeting, dig into it with the winery team, and pull insights on the fly.”

Budget calls made with Google and Meta side by side

Google and Meta report reservations differently. With both in one structure in Claude, the team compares Meta reservation intent with Google reservations and decides where the next dollar goes. It has already made several cross-channel budget calls, with more coming as holiday spend shifts Meta toward retargeting and ecommerce.

“We're in the business of surprise and delight,” says Matthew. “Now we can come in and say: here's another layer we can review with you.”

Outcome and impact

Four months in, Supermetrics is part of every working day.

  • Hours back on builds: a Google Search rebuild in 2 hours, not 14.
  • Meta changes in minutes: a 40-ad rename that takes 30 to 40 minutes by hand, done in minutes.
  • Around 30% of time saved, and growing: month-end reporting no longer takes a full day, and each saved skill speeds up the next task.
  • Issues caught early: draft ads, identify conversion tracking issues, and apply fixes before any performance issue.
  • Deeper analysis for every client: spend per visit, cross-channel budget calls, and more, on demand.

The saved time allows us to double-down with our clients. “It's about going deeper and showing more value to the clients we have,” says Matthew. “The big question with AI has always been whether it's really saving you time. This is really saving us time.”

“It takes the more tedious detail work off my plate, so my time goes to strategy and insights,” says Anne.

What's next

Next, Premier Cru is turning on Business Context, which loads each client's goals, metrics and conversions into every chat, and Campaign Monitoring, which alerts the team in Slack or email when a campaign breaks or misses a target.

“A significant amount of time is spent having to explain campaign objectives again to the AI every time we kick-off a new query,” says Matthew. “Context ideally means we don't start at square one with no understanding. We are looking forward to going deeper with these two features.”
